Bob van der Veldt
Lawyer
Lawyer
Bob has been working for RWV Advocaten since 2010, specialising in procurement law, administrative law, property law and agricultural law. He previously worked as a lawyer for a number of Dutch ministries, a role in which he had to help deal with the consequences of major disasters such as the flooding in 1998 and the fireworks disaster in Enschede in 2000. It was cases such as these that sparked his interest in the interplay between politics and administrative law.
Having studied at the Delft Institute of Applied Agricultural Sciences and subsequently pursued a career in the agricultural industry, it’s hardly surprising to learn that agricultural law is another of his special interests. As a lawyer, he’s a pragmatic, no-nonsense professional who is ready to fight for every cause he takes on.
