Having first worked for RWV Advocaten as a student trainee, Maartje joined the firm as a legal assistant in 2018. She graduated from Leiden University in May 2019, completing master’s degrees in both constitutional and administrative law, and employment law.
She currently works for the Property and Administrative Law practices, where her main interest lies in general administrative law, although she also deals regularly with issues involving procurement procedures and property law. “Administrative law is all about the administrative activities performed by the government. I believe that, when taking decisions under public law, governments and government entities should take careful account of the interests of individuals and businesses.”
