As a family law specialist, I guide people through divorces. Many of my clients are (partners of) entrepreneurs or high-net-worth individuals. Often with businesses that need to be divided, corporate interests at stake, prenuptial agreements in place, and international aspects that add complexity. And always: emotions running through it all.
A divorce sets many things in motion: emotions, rights, obligations, and uncertainty. I listen openly and with curiosity to what is said, but also to what remains unspoken. Asking the right questions is my strength. Behind positions lie concerns. Behind demands and emotions lie needs. When those become clear, space opens up for constructive steps and workable agreements.
I help former partners move towards a new future. Sometimes that means letting go completely. Sometimes it means reshaping the connection as partners in parenting. I keep the interests of children sharply in focus. They deserve parents who listen to them, without feeling they have to choose sides.
I am deeply committed and empathetic by nature, but also someone who takes decisive action. As a mediator and as a solicitor, I look for what brings parties together, not what divides them. And when dialogue no longer works, I stand firmly beside my client in court.
Outside of work, I enjoy good food, reading, travelling, and singing. Running and yoga give me peace and clarity. Just like in mediation, it’s about balance between movement, perseverance, and letting go.
